It would be so nice to see Devin Stanton have a good summer and come back ready to go next winter. He’s off to a good start, it appears.
He did a nice job of battling back (he only threw three first pitch strikes) in the count several times last night. The guys we’ve sent to Alaska in the past 10 years have all gone on to pitch pro ball. Hopefully, he’s now headed in that direction.
