- Sam Dove (South) and Chris Triplett (North) were the starting second basemen in the Valley Baseball League All-Star Game Sunday night at Haymarket, Va.
- Dove went 1-for-3, including a solo home run that got the South on the board in the top of the first inning, along with a strikeout before being replaced in the field in the sixth inning.
- Meanwhile, Triplett played the entire game for the North and went 1-for-3 with two walks.
