Good to see Buck shake off a rough MLB start. I wonder if they brought him up too soon.
Under normal circumstances, I’m sure they would have waited but their pitching situation has been pretty desperate. They still have to figure out another starter for this weekend — in fact there was speculation before last night that they might have had Buck skip his start for Toledo in order to go back to Detroit. Probably the best decision to keep him in Toledo for now so he can have a bit of success to build on.
Big thing right now is he is on the 40-man roster and so he will be with the big club to start Spring Training.
Well, plenty of guys languish for years in the minors and never get to “the bigs” so Buck already has plenty to be proud of.
