Wow Pabst is stinking it up….whats up with our guys?
Wood bats — and in the case of Cape Cod, a higher level of pitching. As long as guys aren’t striking out multiple times per game, don’t get too worked up.
My bigger concern is that Justus’ premium defensive value will take a back seat to his slow start in terms of batting average and he will be relegated to being used solely for late inning defense.
Is the philosophy of these leagues primarily as player development assets, winning games, or some combination? I doubt many players are willing to hang around and be benchwarmers, unlike say on a college team where a certain number of players are just happy to be on the team, and/or waiting for somebody to graduate.
