5. Ryan Peurifoy, of, Home Plate (So., Georgia Tech)
Peurifoy burst onto the scene for the Yellow Jackets as a true freshman, hitting .296 in 50 games. Peurifoy is a strong defender with good speed and excellent reactions off the bat. He brings a plus arm with both strength and accuracy and posted a team-leading seven outfield assists for Georgia Tech in 2014. A sound situational hitter with gap power, Peurifoy is an intelligent player and an above-average baserunner.
9. Cole Miller, 1b, Gwinnett (So., Georgia Tech)
Hip surgery had kept Miller off the diamond since 2012, but he returned to action this summer. Miller has an impressive physical frame and a lefthanded swing. He had some issues with swings and misses but shows solid on-base skills. Miller should have upside once he gets completely healthy, which he is expected to be for 2015 with Georgia Tech.
