2009: Pitched at Arkansas-Little Rock posting 5-5 record with 5.82 ERA in 13 starts....selected in the 22nd Round of the 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft by Tampa Bay....signed professional contract 6/16....assigned to Princeton Rays (Appalachian League).

2008: Transferred to Arkansas-Little Rock....sat out season while recovering from Tommy John surgery.

2007: Joined the Arkansas-Fort Smith program as a transfer....went 2-0 with one save and 4.10 ERA in nine appearances as a freshman.

2006: Did not pitch as a freshman....joined Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League for the summer.

High School: A three-year letterwinner for coach Mike Johnson at Central High School....Went 7-2 with 101 strikeouts in 67 innings as a senior....Was 8-3 with 93 strikeouts in 63 innings as a junior....Earned all-state honors as a senior and all-conference honors as a junior....Rated as the No. 3 prospect in Arkansas and the No. 273 prospect in the nation.
