2007: Worked three shutout innings to earn the win in relief 4/18 vs. Georgia....pitched for Alexandria Beetles of Northwoods League during summer....also saw late summer duty as a hitter and belted solo home runs in back-to-back games 8/9-10.

High School: Three year letter-winner for coach Brent Mosely at Starr’s Mill High School in Fayetteville.... First Team 2006 All-Fayette/Coweta County by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Fayette Daily News as well as “Pitcher of the Year” by the Daily News....named to the 2006 Braves 400 Club Metro High School All Star Team....Rated the No. 11 prospect in the state by Perfect Game USA in 2005....Went 9-0 with 54 strikeouts and a 1.55 ERA in his senior season....Was 5-1 with 43 strikeouts during his junior year....Lost just two games in his entire high school career....Participated in the Area Code Games and the Perfect Game National Showcase....Played on the 2004 East Cobb Braves team that captured the WWBA National Championship.
