2009: Promoted to Class AA New Britain....enjoyed hot month of May posting .386 average....selected to play in Eastern League All-Star Game 7/15 at Trenton.

2008: Once again assigned to Class A Fort Myers Miracle (Florida State League)....placed on seven-day disabled list 6/27 (back)...reactivated 7/13.

2007: Assigned to Class A Fort Myers Miracle (Florida State League)....re-assigned to Class A Beloit 6/23....did not play for Snappers before being placed on the disabled list (lower back strain) 7/2 for the remainder of the season.

2006: Homered while driving in a career-high six runs 2/15 vs. Georgia Southern....led team with 20 RBI in 10 games during February....hit first career grand slam 4/14 vs. Clemson....moved to third base following exams....selected in the 4th round of the June Draft by Minnesota Twins....assigned to Class A Beloit Snappers....went 10-for-14 with 10 RBI over first four professional games, including 4-for-4 effort with two RBI singles and a two-run homer 6/29 vs. Kane County....bothered by back injury that limited action after 8/2....disabled with stress fracture in back 8/18.

2005: Endured roller-coaster season at the plate....began campaign going 0-for-6 before starting a five-game hitting streak....proceeded to go 0-for-18 over next five games before launching another five-game hitting streak....ended month of March in a 2-for-22 slump....saw only limited action at first base during April going 6-for-18 with eight RBI during month including season-high four RBI game vs. Florida State 4/16....regained regular starting spot on May 8....homered in consecutive games vs. Virginia Tech 5/13-14....delivered game-winning RBI in back-to-back ACC Tournament games against Wake Forest 5/25 and Florida State 5/26....named to ACC All-Tournament team....earned berth in Cape Cod League All-Star Game while spending summer with Wareham Gatemen.

2004: Slowed by pre-season bout with mononucleosis to start season but emerged as one of Tech's hottest hitters over second half of campaign....began career by going 0-for-7 while seeing spot duty in just five of Tech's first nine games....collected his first collegiate hit in first start 3/5 vs. Rutgers....was hitting just .211 (4-for-19) entering first ACC series of season but proceeded to hit .328 the rest of the way including a .368 clip (21-for-57) during May....went 7-for-9 with five RBI and six runs scored during series vs. Duke....named to NCAA Atlanta Regional All-Tournament team after going 5-for-12 along with first two home runs of his collegiate career....played for Wareham Gatemen of Cape Cod League during summer.

High School: A four-year letter-winner for coach Chip Henderson as a pitcher, first baseman and third baseman at Calhoun High School....Also lettered two years as a quarterback in football....Career batting average of .580 with 23 home runs and 160 RBI at Calhoun....Posted a 9-3 record and a 1.17 ERA in 55 innings as a pitcher, striking out 117....Owns the school record for most strikeouts in a season....Also holds the school record for single-season passing yards in football....All-state first baseman by the Georgia Dugout Club in 2003....Honorable mention all-state selection in football....Helped Calhoun win the 2000 Georgia state championship and finish as the runner-up in 2001....Played with the East Cobb summer team that won the Connie Mack World Series in 2003 earning all-tournament honors.
