Thanks for all you do for this site, it is truly appreciated. Do you have a way too early prediction for next years line up? It seems to me we will be pretty stacked losing 1 starter and adding the likes of Blake Jackson and Kel Johnson. Also our pitching will be pretty decent with Parr, Gooden, Clay, King, Pitts, Grimes etc. who do you think our pitching starters would be IF you had to take a guess today.

  • Really have to wait to see the impact of the draft. In a worst case world, you could lose Clay, Gooden, Grimes, Heddinger, King, Stanton and P.Wiseman — and Pitts will be coming off of Tommy John. I don’t think most fans realize yet that Sam Clay is a draft-eligible sophomore. His decision this summer is going to be huge. So you’re right — we could be stacked. But can’t take that for granted quite yet.
