B.S. Management, 2007 2006: Assigned to Class AA Springfield (Texas League)....began season on 15-day disabled list (left thumb)....activated 4/16....sent down to Class A Palm Beach 5/17....released 6/16.
2005: Converted to full-time duty as an outfielder....assigned to Class A Palm Beach (Florida State League)....promoted to Class AA Springfield (Texas League) 8/23. 2003: Assigned to Class A Peoria (Midwest League). 2002: Second-team All-ACC selection....Started season slowly going just 2-for-16 to begin campaign....Named to all-tournament team for the Baseball at the Beach Tournament in Myrtle Beach....went 4-for-9 with three home runs and seven RBI, including two-home run game 3/16, during two-game series at Wake Forest....selected in eighth round of June draft by St. Louis Cardinals....signed professional contract 6/30 and assigned to Class A New Jersey (New York-Penn League)....hit first professional home run 7/17 at Hudson Valley. 2001: Second-team pre-season All-America selection by Baseball America....went 3-for-5 in victory at Georgia 2/21....hit only home run of season in home opener 2/23 vs. Elon....missed entire month of March after suffering broken right thumb 2/28....hitting .342 with one home run and 13 RBI at time of injury....returned to action going 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI in late innings as designated hitter 4/4 vs. Georgia State....went down with hairline fracture in right forearm when struck by foul ball 4/14 vs. Wake Forest and did not play over the remainder of the season....returned to Wareham for summer....singled and walked as starting catcher for West in Cape Cod League All-Star Game 7/21 at Falmouth, Mass....also played for Cape Cod League All-Stars in victory over the New England Collegiate Baseball League All-Stars 7/28 at Keene, N.H....named No. 19 prospect at Cape Cod by Baseball America. 2000: Made collegiate debut with two home runs in season opener 2/12 at Georgia Southern....saw action as catcher, first baseman, designated hitter and in outfield....finished third on team with 11 homers....spent summer with Wareham Gateman of Cape Cod League....named number three prospect at Cape Cod by Baseball America after hitting .272 with ten doubles, one home run and 19 RBI in 147 at-bats.
