Right-hander who joined Tech program for 2005 Fall practice as a walk-on....Adds depth to the pitching staff....Has a good, live arm and the coaching staff feels he has the potential to develop into an effective member of the bullpen.
2007: Did not see duty against collegiate competition....worked a scoreless inning in relief vs. Atlanta Braves 2/28 notching a strikeout of prospect T.J. Bohn....pitched for Colleyville LoneStars of Texas Collegiate League during summer.
2006: Did not pitch while being red-shirted.
High School: A three-year letter-winner for coach Harvey Cochran at North Cobb High School....Posted a 2.59 ERA and struck out 72 batters in 65 innings as a senior to earn second-team All-Cobb County honors from Marietta Daily Journal....Posted an 8-3 record and a 1.64 ERA as a junior....A two-time All-Cobb County selection....Played summer ball with the East Cobb Cardinals.
